Terms for Coffre.
Coffre is open-source software first. The hosted app is a managed beta of the same end-to-end encrypted vault model.
The software
Coffre (the software) is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. See LICENSE for the full text. No warranty is provided beyond that clause.
The marketing site
coffre.app is operated as an informational
site. Reading it does not create an account or a paid service
relationship. We do not collect personal data beyond what is described
in Privacy.
Hosted beta
The hosted app provides a managed Coffre server and web client. The free hosted plan includes 10 TOTP tokens and no generic secrets. Pro unlocks paid hosted quotas for the account. Hosted availability, backups, abuse controls, and billing operations are managed by the operator; vault plaintext remains encrypted client-side.
Subscriptions
Web subscriptions are handled through Mollie. Mollie checkout and the Mollie customer portal manage card details, invoices, cancellation, and payment status. Paid access continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation unless required otherwise by law or provider policy. Native Apple and Google purchases are verified server-side before they grant a hosted entitlement.
Abuse and access
Coffre may limit or suspend hosted access for abuse, security risk, unlawful use, payment failure, or attempts to interfere with the service. Self-hosted operators set their own access policy for their own deployments.
